Wills, Estate and Probate Law

Wills

We offer simple Wills to complex Wills and Trusts (see our Estate Planning section). In Texas, our intestacy laws will generally protect your estate if you do not care what family members will inherit and in what proportions. If you do care, a will is generally inexpensive and cheaper than the expense your family will incurr in what is called an heirship determination.

In addition we recommend our clients execute durable and medical powers of attorney, HIPAA release, Guardianship Declaration all of which will allow you to prepare for future events should you become incapacitated due to an accident or other unseen event in your life. These are vital if you are young and have children as you can plan for their future in the event of an unforeseen tragedy that leaves you in a coma or death.
